Closes: 28 September 2016 at 4pm
VicHealth is offering clubs the option to apply for grants as part of the Round 1 VicHealth Active Club Grants. In the first of two rounds for 2016-17, two levels of funding grants – up to $3,000 or up to $10,000 – are available to community sports clubs across Victoria.
VicHealth is looking to fund clubs in two key outcome areas:
Outcome area 1: Female participation
VicHealth funding is available to get more women and girls involved in sport. Funding will be awarded to clubs looking to establish new female teams and deliver new activities, programs or competitions.
Outcome area 2: Participation in social and modified forms of sport
Through this grant, VicHealth will increase access to social or modified sport programs through sport clubs.
Clubs can submit an application for funding at both funding levels. Both applications will be subjected to the assessment process, but if successful only one application will be eligible for funding.
Applications for round 1 are now open. For further information including program guidelines, eligibility and how to apply, visit the VicHealth website.
