In a rare opportunity to add to the Canoeing Victoria Instructor team we are seeking expressions of interest for casual paddling instructors who are interested in working with Canoeing Victoria to deliver paddling programs and the Australian Canoeing Award Scheme (ACAS) certifications here in Victoria as part of our education team.
The Australian Canoeing Award Scheme (ACAS) is a national standard outdoor industry level qualification pathway for school teachers, outdoor education professionals and tourism sectors. As well as being the sole National Training provider of ACAS in Victoria at present, Canoeing Victoria also provide paddling related activities and training for a number of schools, community groups and general public.

Our guides and instructors jobs are casual throughout the year based on our client needs and as such it is a dedicated and passionate team of paddlers.
Our paddling staff will be proud to represent and promote both Canoeing Victoria and the Australian Canoeing Award Scheme to provide our clients with the highest level of customer service and professionalism within the paddling community.
Our ideal candidates will be able to demonstrate the widest paddling abilities across paddling disciplines, qualifications, locations and a professional passion for paddling and teaching.
The casual positions suits candidates who are passionate about paddling, technique development & education and who desire to promote the benefits of paddling to the broader community. The position will work for candidates who are flexible and available to work on weekends and occasionally during the week.
Programs will vary from half a day work up to several days back to back and can be in remote locations in Victoria that can involve camping style accommodation at times.
